A daytime retreat to withdraw from the routine and reconnect with yourself. Using elements of nature, we will move, breath, and craft to celebrate + integrate all the teaching of sweet springtime.

Interactive, all-levels workshop where we learn about Bhakti- The Yoga of the Heart
Opening Ceremony - Kirtan
Workshop 1 - Mantra, Sacred Sound Formulas
Learn and practice Sanskirt and Buddhist mantras and proper pronunciation of mantras and their meaning. Learn the practice of Japa (mantra meditation with beads). Study specific mantras for meditation, health, abundance, love, removing obstacles, and more.
Lunch - Please bring a light lunch or snack
Workshop 2 - Murtis, Myth, and Mandala
Complementing the sound of mantra is sacred sight. Study the sacred geometry and meaning of Yantra and Mandala. Learn about the Murtis (Ganesha, shiva, Laxmi); delving into their rich, symbolic nature and inspiring stories. Learn ahow to work with Murtis and mantras together.
Short Break
Workshop 3 - Taking Mantra Home
Guidance selecting personal Mantra and Murti (Ishtadevita). Guidance selecting a Mala (prayer beads) for your mantra. How to use mantra in yoga/asana to deepen practice. End with Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) and Sound Bath.
Closing Ceremony - Kirtan
Participants will receive a booklet with mantra and information covered in the Immersion.
MaaShakti Das (Paulie Skoglind) is a soulful musician, Kirtan Artist, Yoga Teacher, Thai Massage and Reiki Practitioner, Psychologist, and father. Maa has shared hundreds of Kirtans and yoga classes over 17 years from intimate home Kirtans to major festivals such as Bhakti-fest. A devotee of Neem Karoli, Maa loves and honors the path of Bhakti Yoga and sharing in the beauty with others.
Restorative Yin Journey
Join Laura Youngblut for this 2-hour restorative yin practice to connect the physical body with the mind. The session begins with a foundational, physical awareness of the body. Deeper into the session, space is given to connect with the mind, mentally and emotionally. Within the 2 hours you choose the relaxation, peace, and stillness you need.
RBY provides 1 mat, bolster, strap, blanket, and 2 blocks per person. For a deeper restorative practice, you may choose to bring 1 additional bolster and blanket
