International Yoga Teacher + Co-DreamerGrowing up in Spain taught me to witness the uniqueness of different cultures and the value of immersing myself fully in new ways of life, language, and food — it shaped my curiosity, my adaptability, my awareness.
Yoga has been part of me for as long as I can remember, long before I had a name for it. It's a deepening of how we understand ourselves, a practice of living in harmony — through movement, community, and learning from others. It teaches me the expansiveness of my breath and how to stay present with life exactly as it is — vulnerable, curious and in awe.
I've traveled facilitating embodiment practices, weaving together different yoga lineages, somatic movement, nervous system regulation techniques and other cultural elements gathered along the way.
I believe yoga is a gift to be shared — a space to find grounding, hold strength and softness simultaneously, and embody the peace already within us.
Founder, RealBeautifulYOU + Co-DreamerRachel
Homegrown in northern Illinois, I have found my cultural identity through family + friends, and moments of travel in the in-between. I was taught to be curious and educated and always, always to ask the questions- but more importantly, look for my own answers.
I was introduced to yoga as a young teen; attending community classes with my mom changed the trajectory of my life in a way that I could have never imagined. Yoga became the constant in young, angsty years and the practice I learned I not only wanted to return to, but that welcomed me back every time with a sense of ease and comfort.
I dreamt of my own studio for years, and began the ever-growing, ever-changing journey of building in 2020 and have never once looked back. The space I’ve created has become not only my home, but given home to countless hearts, souls, and mats over the days past.
Yoga offers me comfort, empowerment, and beauty beyond words. I wish only the same for you.
